Regardless of how use Swivel, meetings will be what you use to create all your online events and experiences.
Scheduling meetings
One of the first things you'll likely want to do will be to schedule a meeting. The following steps will show you how to do it:
1. Access your account dashboard by logging in at the top-right corner of the swivel.is homepage.
2. Click the Schedule Meeting button.
3. Select the meeting date on the displayed calendar view.
4. Select the meeting start time by clicking on the hour and minutes and choosing from the corresponding dropdowns.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for meeting end date/time.
6. Click Schedule button to save your scheduled meeting.
Starting scheduled meetings
There are two different paths for starting scheduled meetings. One is only available immediately after scheduling a meeting using a confirmation notification. The other is always available from your Upcoming meetings list on your dashboard.
Starting scheduled meetings from a notification
After scheduling a meeting, a Meeting scheduled successfully notification is displayed in the top-right corner of your dashboard. Click the Start button inside the notification to launch that meeting immediately.
Starting scheduled meetings from your dashboard
Most meetings are scheduled in advance of their start time. As your meeting approaches, you will need to be able to quickly find and launch the correct meeting. The following steps walk you through how to do that.
1. Access your account dashboard by logging in at the top-right corner of the swivel.is homepage.
2. Locate and hover on your meeting under the Upcoming tab in the Your Meetings section.
3. Click on the highlighted meeting to display relevant action buttons and then click the Start button.
Starting new (unscheduled) meetings
To host a meeting in Swivel, it's not necessary to schedule one first. Simply login to your account and click the blue Start New Meeting button on your dashboard.
1. Access your account dashboard by logging in at the top-right corner of the swivel.is homepage.
2. Click the blue Start New Meeting button.
Inviting people to join meetings
Inviting people to Swivel meetings always consists of simply copying a meeting invite link and sending it to them using whichever method works best for you. Unique meeting links work for hosts to launch their own meetings and for guests to join a meeting. There are numerous places throughout the app to copy an invite link. They're all listed below.
1. Click the Invite button in the Meeting scheduled successfully notification displayed in the top-right corner of your dashboard after scheduling a meeting.
2. Click the Invite button that's displayed after clicking on an Upcoming meeting on your dashboard.
3. In the final step to starting or joining a meeting, you are have a chance to setup and test your camera and microphone. On that screen is an Invite Link field you can click on to copy the URL to your clipboard.
4. When in an active meeting, click on the Invite button in the top-right corner of the screen to copy the invite meeting URL to your clipboard.
5. One last way you can access a meeting invite URL is when you are in an active meeting, simply copy and share the URL in your browser.
Editing scheduled meetings
You can easily edit dates and times of meetings you have already scheduled. The following steps explain how.
1. Access your account dashboard by logging in at the top-right corner of the swivel.is homepage.
2. Locate and hover on the meeting you want to edit under the Upcoming tab in the Your Meetings section.
3. Click on the highlighted meeting to display relevant action buttons and click on the Edit button.
4. Proceed to edit the dates and times in the same way you initially scheduled the meeting and click Schedule to save.
